Thank you and update...

I want to Thank you all for your thoughts, prayers and well wishes for my step father, you are the best with such caring hearts! I truly believe the little family you see above is what made him fight hard enough to survive this, the Dr. said it is nothing short of a miracle that he is still with us! He told my step father outright before they took him into surgery "I will be honest with you, you have a 20% chance of surviving the operation" Statistics show that 50% of folks who have a ruptured aneurysm will not make it to a hospital, you bleed internally to the point of your organs shutting down. The last words he said to my mom as they took him into the OR were "I just want to be here to see the munchkin" his nickname for Tyler:) As of last night he was awake, alert and looking forward to mom & I coming to visit today! My son is sick, was in bed all day yesterday, so I am hoping he feels better soon because he is coming HOME in 10 days!!!!! Thank you all again, I guess Christmas really is the time for miracles:)

Your home will be full of love and laughter for the holidays. I knw they are counting down as well. Hope your son gets to feeling better. 7. Hope he was doing well when you went to visit him today. He too has a lot to look forward to when the kids get home so maybe that will help him to continue fighting to get better. Hope your son gets better real quick and that none of the rest of them get it either.
    Take care of yourself too!
Wishing you some peace and calmness in the coming days.
